Terms of Use and Right of Withdrawal

• 📑1. General provisions. These terms govern the purchase of goods in the vikrem.lv online store. By placing an order, the buyer confirms that they have read and agree to these terms. The distance contract enters into force at the moment the buyer has placed an order and received confirmation by email.
• ↩️2. Right of withdrawal (14 days). In accordance with Section 12 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law and Clause 19 of Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 "Regulations on Distance Contracts", the consumer has the right to withdraw from the goods within 14 calendar days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day the goods come into the buyer's possession. The returned goods must be in their original packaging and unused condition.
• ✉️3. Exercising the right of withdrawal. To exercise the right of withdrawal, please inform us in writing at info@vikrem.lv. The goods must be returned no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal notice. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the buyer, unless the goods received were damaged or incorrect.
• 📦4. Conditions for returning goods. Returned goods must be unused, with their original appearance, original packaging and labels preserved. For hygiene reasons, certain goods (for example, opened underwear) cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened, except in cases where the goods are damaged.
• 💰5. Refunds. In accordance with Clause 22 of Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255, after receiving and inspecting the returned goods, we refund the amount paid no later than within 14 days by bank transfer to the same account from which the payment was made. We have the right to withhold the refund until we have received the goods back.
• 🛡️6. Warranty and conformity of goods. All goods are covered by the statutory 2-year conformity guarantee in accordance with Sections 27 and 29 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law. If the goods do not conform to the terms of the contract, the buyer has the right to request replacement, repair, a price reduction, or a refund.
• 👶7. Children's clothing safety. All children's clothing we offer complies with European Union safety requirements, including standard EN 14682 (on the safety of cords and drawstrings on children's clothing). Where possible, we use OEKO-TEX® certified materials, which are tested for harmful substances and are gentle on a child's skin.
• ⚖️8. Dispute resolution. All disputes are resolved through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, the consumer may turn to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (www.ptac.gov.lv) or use the EU dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
• 🔒9. Personal data protection. The buyer's personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is used solely to fulfil the order. Data is not transferred to third parties, except as necessary to provide the delivery service.
